Job Responsibilities

• Transporting equipment and materials to designated company and customer locations.
• Performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Adhering strictly to all company and Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations during all driving operations.
• Ensuring the securement of all load contents to prevent any damage or breakage, in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
• Maintaining clear and consistent communication with dispatch and the Trucking Manager.
• Supervising the loading and unloading processes to safeguard against damage or breakage.
• Reporting any necessary truck maintenance or repairs to the Trucking Manager or mechanics promptly.
• Keeping meticulous records of deliveries and driving activities as required by DOT regulations.

Job Requirements

• Possession of a valid CDL Class A License.
• A current and valid DOT physical examination certificate.
• A minimum of 6 months of CDL Class A driving experience is required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided for one year.
• A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and MVR verification.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory; a CDL is considered a strong asset.
