Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through community-based care. Role Overview
This full-time, onsite Direct Support Professional (DSP) position is focused on helping individuals live more independently, stay connected to their communities, and work toward personal and developmental goals. The job combines hands-on support, encouragement, and companionship in a setting where compassion and reliability matter.
What You Will Do
- Help participants work toward personal and developmental goals such as managing money, eating well, joining community activities, and enjoying recreation.
- Develop supportive, trusted relationships while serving as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
- Bring initiative to your work and contribute ideas in an environment where leadership values employee input.
- Encourage inclusion by supporting access to community events, outings, and preferred activities.
- Assist with day-to-day living tasks, including meal preparation, taking medication, personal care, and transportation for activities and outings.
- Provide patient and compassionate support in general daily assistance.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate of $15.00 per hour.
