Role overview

GTA Cars, a long-running premium used-car dealership in Dubai, is hiring an experienced Car Purchaser to support vehicle acquisition in a fast-moving automotive market. This role is ideal for someone with a strong instinct for spotting value, evaluating vehicles accurately, and negotiating purchases that make sense commercially. Compensation can reach up to AED 70,000 per month on a tax-free basis, including on-target earnings.

What you should bring

The business is looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience in automotive purchasing or sales. UAE exposure is preferred, although applicants with strong backgrounds from the UK, Europe, or Australia will also be considered. You should have a solid grasp of vehicle makes and models, how to judge condition and market value, and the confidence to source and negotiate with private sellers as well as trade contacts. A valid UAE driving licence is expected, or alternatively a UK licence accompanied by at least 2 years of driving experience.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for finding suitable vehicles across the UAE market using outbound calls, online channels, referrals, and your own professional network. The job involves assessing each car carefully, including pricing, condition, mileage, service background, and overall resale potential. You will also lead purchase negotiations with private owners and dealers, arrange inspections and test drives, and ensure any compliance checks are completed before a deal is finalised. In addition, you will work closely with sales and operations teams to keep inventory matched to demand, maintain accurate records of sourcing and negotiation activity, and consistently meet monthly goals for volume, margin, and stock quality.

Working style

The ideal applicant is a persuasive negotiator who knows when to press forward and when to step back. You should be commercially aware, comfortable assessing demand and vehicle desirability, highly organised, and capable of working independently in a performance-driven environment. Building trust quickly with sellers and colleagues alike is essential.

Compensation and progression

This position offers a competitive tax-free package with performance-related incentives and the potential to earn up to AED 70,000 per month.
