About the Role
Join an innovative aerospace startup focusing on developing advanced UAVs for logistics and aerial surveillance. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work with real drone systems encompassing design through to flight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive and visually appealing aircraft exteriors and chassis designs that reinforce brand identity while ensuring aerodynamic efficiency and ergonomic comfort.
- Create detailed, production-ready 3D CAD models and high-quality renders, iterating designs for manufacturability considering processes like injection molding and carbon fiber layups.
- Collaborate closely with mechatronics and embedded systems teams to integrate internal components effectively, optimizing aspects such as thermal management and sensor visibility.
- Lead rapid prototyping efforts using FDM/SLA 3D printing, foam modeling, and color, material, and finish analysis to evaluate assembly feasibility and user interaction.
- Prepare compelling technical documentation, exploded views, and 3D animations to support investor presentations and product launches.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be available for full-time, in-office internship in Bangalore.
- Availability to commence the internship between 26th September 2026 and 31st October 2026.
- Willingness to commit to the full duration of 6 months.
- Residency in Bangalore to ensure on-site presence.
- Possession of relevant skills and a strong interest in mechanical design.
- Currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering studies.
- Demonstrated builder mindset beyond just academic learning.
Stipend and Benefits
This internship is compensated with a monthly stipend ranging from INR 10,000 to 18,000. Additionally, a potential job offer is available upon successful completion.
