Role Overview
Addepar is hiring a motivated and high-performing Business Development Representative to join its Business Development & Sales team. In this position, you will work closely with Sales and other key partners to identify, develop, and qualify revenue opportunities across assigned territories and segments. The role is focused on creating new business demand and driving growth within wealth management, family office, private banking, and global investment management markets. The right person will be genuinely interested in finance and innovative technology, bring strong commercial instincts, and approach the work with energy, persistence, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Build new business pipeline that contributes directly to Addepar’s expansion.
- Design and manage targeted account lists and outreach plans for a defined territory.
- Research prospective accounts and open conversations through phone outreach, personalized email, and social networking channels.
- Lead early-stage discovery discussions and meetings with potential clients.
- Partner with go-to-market teams such as marketing, sales, and product to support new business growth.
- Meet quarterly goals for the number of qualified opportunities generated.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of experience in outbound SaaS prospecting with a demonstrated record of results; experience in fintech or financial services is a plus. Familiarity with private banking and wealth management sales prospecting is also advantageous. Addepar is looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a proactive mindset, good teamwork skills, and a high level of energy. You should also be comfortable solving problems, communicating clearly, staying organized, managing time well, and adjusting quickly to changing priorities. A direct communication style, assertiveness, and a strong company-first attitude are valued. Experience with Salesforce, Gong, and Salesloft would be an added advantage.
