Role overview

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Representative position based in London, UK. The role sits within an early-stage SaaS company that is expanding quickly and already seeing strong market traction. The team is small and highly focused, with experienced leadership and backing from top-tier venture investors. In this environment, the BDR is expected to have real ownership, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and directly influence pipeline growth as the company scales.

Compensation

The package includes a base salary of up to £55,000, depending on experience, along with bonus potential.

Ideal candidate profile

  • You bring 1 to 2 years of SaaS sales experience, ideally gained in an early-stage startup.
  • You have a history of outperforming expectations, whether in academics or in professional roles.
  • You can consistently build and maintain outbound sales pipelines.
  • You are self-motivated, resilient, and able to stay focused through setbacks and rejection.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently in both written and spoken formats.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-moving startup setting where priorities can shift quickly.

What you will do

  • Use industry insight to research target accounts, map decision-makers, spark interest, and progress account development.
  • Run outbound prospecting campaigns while also handling incoming leads effectively.
  • Lead early-stage discovery discussions with targeted accounts, including conversations with C-level executives.
  • Consistently beat business development goals, particularly around pipeline creation.
  • Create and refine outreach cadences across calls, email, and social channels, along with supporting playbooks for leads in your territory.
