Role Overview

The Business Development & Operations team is a critical, strategy-driven unit at the heart of our business. We are seeking motivated, results-oriented individuals with a strong work ethic to join us in delivering exceptional home and beauty services. As a Business Development & Operations Associate/Senior Associate, you will spearhead strategic initiatives directly influencing Urban Company's growth in Singapore. This role offers comprehensive exposure to all facets of the business. Your primary focus will be defining strategic priorities and operational requirements to scale your assigned category. You will interact with diverse internal and external stakeholders globally and locally. You will gain a deep understanding of our key markets and industries, manage the entire service journey from end-to-end, utilize technology and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to manage our service professional fleet, identify new market opportunities, launch new services, and design customer experiences that exceed expectations. This role involves both in-depth data analysis to derive insights and hands-on execution to ensure best-in-class service delivery.

Note: Business Development at Urban Company is distinct from a sales function.

Job Responsibilities

• Spearhead category development, overseeing critical operational and growth aspects.
• Diagnose and resolve structural issues to accelerate category expansion.
• Lead analytical projects focused on addressing diverse business challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams in marketing, technology, and product to execute projects at both category and central levels.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor's degree is a mandatory requirement.
• Possess 0-2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to achieve ambitious targets.
• Exhibit a strong bias for action and a commitment to hands-on execution.
• Possess robust business acumen and critical thinking capabilities.
• Skilled in leveraging data analytics to generate actionable business insights.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adept at tackling ambiguous problems with a strong focus on results.

Compensation and Additional Information

• Monthly compensation ranging from SGD 4,400 to SGD 5,000.
• This position is exclusively open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.
