About the internship
About the Internship
Bempu Health is seeking engaged Business Development interns to support our sales efforts focused on newborn health technologies. These role holders will develop targeted contact lists of private maternity hospitals, hospital networks, NGOs, corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, prospect partners, funders, and distribution channels both within India and internationally.
The internship involves enriching data with critical details such as delivery volumes, decision-makers, contact information, and identifying key contacts for initial approach. Interns will design and execute email outreach campaigns to spark communications, monitor replies, and continuously optimize messaging strategies.
Researching active programs in newborn and maternal health and prioritizing funder pipelines are essential, as is working closely with the CEO on high-priority accounts — encompassing prospect research, briefing preparations, outreach content creation, and follow-up activity management.
Engagement with doctors, hospital personnel, and partners via phone calls will qualify interest levels and coordinate meetings for the sales team. It is also critical to maintain an accurate, up-to-date, and duplicate-free CRM database. Weekly progress reports summarizing contacts developed, emails dispatched, responses obtained, and meetings arranged are required.
