Job description

About the roleThis position is for a Business Development Associate in an EdTech environment, focused on learner counselling, sales conversations, and enrolment conversion. The role suits candidates who can communicate confidently, understand learner needs, and work toward targets in a structured sales process.Key responsibilitiesConnect with warm leads and carry out guided counselling conversations with prospective learners.Assess each learner’s background, goals, and concerns to suggest the most relevant programme.Explain programme details clearly, with confidence and persuasive communication.Address common objections related to pricing, time commitment, and expected career outcomes.Follow up regularly on proposals, callbacks, and pending payment cases.Keep CRM records accurate, current, and updated every day.Work with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth handover for enrolled learners.Consistently work toward weekly and monthly enrolment goals.Relay market observations and learner feedback to help improve sales pitches.Compensation and benefitsFixed annual CTC of INR 7 to 8.4 LPA, depending on experience.Additional performance-based incentives on top of fixed compensation.Five-day work week, with Monday and Tuesday off.Training and onboarding support from the first day.Fast-moving team environment that values initiative and accountability.Defined career progression within a growing EdTech company.Eligibility and requirementsCandidates with 0 to 2 years of experience in sales, academic counselling, or business development can apply. Freshers with strong communication ability and the confidence to sell are also welcome. Applicants should be comfortable having a large number of quality conversations each day, be able to listen well, build trust quickly, and stay positive under pressure.
