Role Purpose

The Bus Driver is essential for the safe and efficient transportation of employees and passengers to and from specified locations. This role ensures punctuality and comfort during travel, contributing to the smooth functioning of daily operations by maintaining reliable staff mobility and supporting workforce efficiency. The driver must adhere strictly to UAE traffic laws, company health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards, and internal transport protocols. Key aspects of the role include ensuring safe driving practices, conducting proactive vehicle inspections, maintaining clear communication, and delivering excellent customer service to uphold high safety and service benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Transportation & Route Management: Operate buses on scheduled routes and for charter services according to the daily plan. Pick up and drop off passengers at designated times and locations. Adhere to route plans, traffic regulations, and timetables to ensure timely service. Promptly report any delays, incidents, or necessary route adjustments to the Fleet Manager.
• Vehicle Safety & Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, verifying the functionality of all safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, and emergency exits. Routinely check tires, lights, brakes, fuel levels, air conditioning, and the overall condition of the vehicle. Immediately report any vehicle malfunctions, damage, or accidents to the supervisor.
• Passenger Care & Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment within the bus for all passengers. Enforce safety regulations, such as no-smoking policies, proper seating, and orderly boarding procedures. Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies, following established evacuation procedures and safety protocols. Provide professional assistance and basic guidance to passengers as needed.
• Documentation & Reporting: Accurately maintain trip logs, record mileage, and complete inspection checklists. Report any incidents, maintenance requirements, or operational issues in a timely manner. Actively participate in safety briefings, training sessions, and regular performance evaluations.
