About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Brand Designer for a 6-month fixed-term contract opportunity with a rapidly expanding international brand. This position is based in Melbourne and offers a hybrid work arrangement. As a key member of the team, you will be instrumental in upholding and implementing the brand's identity across a variety of consumer-facing materials, including packaging, catalogues, digital content, and retail collateral. You will collaborate closely with the Global Creative Director, taking significant responsibility for the quality and uniformity of all outgoing creative work.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold and implement brand identity across all packaging, catalogues, digital platforms, and marketing materials.
  • Develop and revise product packaging designs, adhering to established dieline templates.
  • Generate catalogue layouts and oversee the updating of product information and visuals.
  • Produce digital assets such as eDMs, social media graphics, and website banners.
  • Design point-of-sale materials, trade show assets, sell sheets, and other retail support collateral.
  • Manage project files, asset libraries, and maintain version control.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, supported by a robust portfolio showcasing brand, packaging, and digital design work.
  • Proven ability to execute designs consistently within an established brand framework.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Solid understanding of packaging production workflows, printing techniques, and dieline specifications.
  • Experience in creating catalogue layouts and managing multi-page document design.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and effectively manage tasks within the scope of a contract role.
  • Prior experience in the trade, hardware, or consumer products sectors is advantageous.

Additional Information

This is a 6-month contract role located in Melbourne with a hybrid work model.
