Job Description

Raffles The Re Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia is looking for a skilled and guest-oriented Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Your primary role will be to create outstanding cocktails and beverages while providing exceptional service in our high-end resort. You will be the focal point of our bar operations, crafting memorable guest experiences through your expertise, professionalism, and engaging demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide array of non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to established recipes and guest preferences.
• Ensure the bar station is consistently clean, organized, and well-stocked, with all equipment and glassware maintained properly.
• Offer informed recommendations on beverage choices and menu items to elevate guest satisfaction.
• Process guest payments accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash and card transactions with precision.
• Manage bar inventory, including monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and actively working to minimize waste.
• Strictly adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Coordinate effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, fostering rapport and encouraging repeat visits.
• Maintain a calm and efficient approach during busy service periods in a demanding environment.
• Uphold all company policies and procedures, representing the Raffles brand with distinction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a bartender in a luxury hospitality or upscale resort setting.
• In-depth knowledge of mocktail preparation and beverage service standards.
• Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and bar management software.
• A solid understanding of non-alcoholic beverages.
• Excellent cash handling and inventory management capabilities.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for engaging with a diverse clientele.
• Physical stamina to remain standing for extended periods and perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Familiarity with health and safety protocols.
• Strong English communication skills; proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous.
• Prior experience or familiarity with Saudi Arabian culture and hospitality expectations is preferred.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A collaborative spirit, positive attitude, and readiness to support colleagues.
