Bartender

About the Role

Hyatt Place AlUla is preparing for its launch in Saudi Arabia, and the team is hiring an experienced Bartender to help establish smooth beverage service from day one. The property is a major step in Hyatt’s regional growth and is planned to include 215 guestrooms along with two food and beverage venues, meeting facilities, a swimming pool, and a fitness center serving both leisure and business guests.

What You’ll Do

In this position, you will prepare and serve drinks in a polished, guest-focused way while maintaining consistency, speed, and a welcoming atmosphere at the bar.

• Mix and present beverages in line with standard recipes and hotel operating guidelines.
• Keep the bar area stocked, organized, sanitized, and ready before service starts, during service, and after closing.
• Interact with guests courteously and professionally to create a positive bar experience.
• Accurately receive, enter, and complete beverage orders.
• Track guest feedback and handle questions or concerns without delay.
• Stay updated on beverage lists, ingredient details, and current hotel promotions.
• Manage bar stock carefully, including correct storage, rotation, and handling of supplies.
• Comply with hygiene standards, safety practices, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
• Support inventory checks and share stock information whenever needed.
• Contribute to pre-opening preparation and ensure the bar is operationally ready for launch.

What We’re Looking For

Applicants should bring prior bartending experience from hotels, restaurants, or bar environments, along with a solid understanding of beverage preparation and service expectations. The role calls for someone who can stay accurate and composed in a busy setting, communicate clearly in English, and work well with the wider team.

• Hands-on experience working as a bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or bar.
• Good knowledge of drink preparation, cocktail making, and professional service standards.
• Strong guest service and engagement skills.
• Comfort working under pressure in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Careful attention to detail and consistency in every drink served.
• Solid planning, organization, and time management abilities.
• A collaborative mindset with effective communication skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

This is a full-time onsite position based in Saudi Arabia. The role supports the pre-opening phase of Hyatt Place AlUla.
