About the Company

Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality is a lively portfolio of six internationally branded hotels in the centre of Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The property group combines leisure, dining, and entertainment to deliver a complete Yas Island experience.

Role Overview

The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, engage with guests, take beverage orders, mix cocktails and other drinks, and keep the bar area clean, organised, and fully supplied.

Key Responsibilities

• Mix and serve a broad selection of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, welcoming manner while taking orders accurately.
• Maintain a neat, stocked, and hygienic bar at all times.
• Follow local regulations related to food safety and alcohol service.
• Handle cash register operations and use ordering systems effectively.
• Work efficiently in a busy environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Stay on your feet for long periods and perform bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling as required.
• Be available for night, weekend, and public holiday shifts.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have strong beverage preparation skills, preferably backed by formal bartending training and at least two years of experience in food and beverage service. Good communication skills, a warm personality, and the ability to remain organised under pressure are important. Basic reading, writing, maths, and computer skills are also needed.

Education

A diploma, high school qualification, or certificate is preferred.
