Role overview
Infosys is looking for a Talent Acquisition professional who can manage full-cycle recruiting with a strong focus on direct sourcing. The role sits within a collaborative hiring team that partners closely with business leaders, candidates, and the wider talent ecosystem to meet immediate hiring needs while also shaping future-ready workforce strategies.
What you will do
In this position, you will help create talent pipelines for critical openings, nurture relationships with stakeholders, and stay actively connected with candidates and hiring managers. You will also work with applicant tracking tools and talent pools to improve hiring outcomes, while contributing to both operational and strategic talent acquisition initiatives.
Location
This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Experience and qualification requirements
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent foreign qualification is required. Infosys will also consider relevant work experience in place of formal education, with three years of applicable experience counted as one year of education. The role calls for at least 4 years of IT recruitment experience, including 3+ years in direct sourcing.
Core capabilities required
- Hands-on experience in direct sourcing, recruitment marketing, and talent analytics.
- Strong command over Boolean and string-based search methods for identifying candidates.
- Experience working as a corporate recruiter or sourcer with end-to-end sourcing ownership.
- Practical use of LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and internal ATS platforms, preferably IBM Kenexa.
- Knowledge of ATS workflows such as requisition monitoring, candidate stage updates, and data hygiene.
- Ability to plan and execute sourcing strategies that align with staffing plans and hiring targets.
- Comfort with market mapping, benchmark studies, and hiring trend analysis.
- Exposure to employer branding and external recruitment marketing activities.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills for turning hiring data into actionable insights.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver recruitment outcomes.
- Ability to protect sensitive information and maintain accuracy in recruitment records.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and recruitment dashboards.
