Job description

Role overview

Trinity Life Sciences is hiring an Associate Consultant for its Evidence Strategy / Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) group in Gurgaon. The role suits someone who is intellectually curious, growth-oriented, and interested in systematic literature reviews that support evidence planning, value demonstration, and scientific communication for biotech, pharma, and medical device clients.

The position sits within the wider Evidence, Value, Access and Pricing (EVAP) practice. In this role, you will help identify and synthesize evidence from secondary sources such as PubMed and Embase to inform downstream evidence generation, HEOR/RWE studies, health economic models, and primary research involving physicians, patients, and payers. The work may also support studies using claims, EMR, and registry data.

This role can also involve broader strategic work across evidence strategy and market access. Depending on your background, you may support client delivery, workstream leadership, training, mentoring, project budgeting, employee management, and business development. There may also be opportunities to contribute to peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, posters, and other scientific outputs.

Key responsibilities

  • Run structured literature searches across databases and other evidence sources to find relevant studies.
  • Create, test, and refine search strings along with inclusion and exclusion criteria based on PICOS.
  • Screen studies against predefined criteria and decide which records should be included.
  • Pull out key data from selected studies and combine findings into clear evidence summaries.
  • Interpret the results and turn them into practical, evidence-based conclusions.
  • Draft reports, summaries, presentations, and other client-facing materials based on review findings.
  • Coordinate with colleagues and stakeholders across Trinity offices to keep deliverables accurate and on schedule.
  • Work with leadership and project teams to ensure outputs address strategic client questions around value, access, and pricing.
  • Act as a workstream lead when needed, guiding junior team members and collaborating closely with project managers.
  • Support proposal development for SLR/TLR projects, including methodology design, timelines, and budgets.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, external conference activities, internal initiatives, and the growth of the EVAP team.
  • Train and mentor junior staff through project work, internal learning efforts, and formal or informal mentorship.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience using systematic review methods, including familiarity with PRISMA guidelines, in consulting or industry.
  • Hands-on experience with reference management tools such as EndNote or Zotero.
  • Comfort using literature databases and search tools for research work.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Good analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Background in systematic literature reviews in industry, research, or academia.
  • Evidence of publication support or authorship, such as abstracts, posters, or peer-reviewed manuscripts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline; a Master’s or PhD is preferred.
