Job description
Role overview
VF Corporation is seeking an Associate Analyst, Sourcing Technology with at least 3 years of professional experience and exposure to the supply chain domain. The role calls for hands-on familiarity with waterfall, agile, and hybrid ways of working across product and project delivery, along with a strong grasp of digital platforms and end-to-end business processes.
As part of the Sourcing Technology team, you will assist the Product Owner in mapping business processes and gathering requirements. You will contribute to the digital roadmap across key areas such as product development, costing, planning, and order management.
This position involves managing how requirements evolve across multiple initiatives, working with stakeholders to understand business needs, and carrying out internal and external research to identify practical digital solutions. You will also support project teams with day-to-day requirements and solution guidance, step in for the Product Owner when required, and evaluate business use cases before recommending next steps for Product Owner approval.
In addition, you will provide Level 3 support to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams for system-related issues.
Key responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to document present-state and future-state processes in detail.
- Create and maintain requirements artifacts, including functional and non-functional specifications, UI mock-ups, process and data flow diagrams, dashboards, and reports.
- Take part in project discussions, draft user stories, and define acceptance criteria and related documentation.
- Review specifications with subject matter experts, developers, and stakeholders, and secure timely sign-off for delivery.
- Serve as the connection point between Product Owners, business teams, vendors, and development groups, including collaboration with project managers, QA teams, program leadership, and external partners across APAC, EMEA, and NORA regions.
- Support the Product Owner in identifying product features that improve user experience, security, and operational efficiency.
- Assess third-party and product integration needs and coordinate with vendors to deliver workable solutions.
- Help define test cases with QA and business stakeholders, support testing efforts, and track system performance and enhancements.
- Partner with the Product Owner to review processes and KPIs for ongoing user experience improvements.
- Work with support teams to handle Level 3 support and ensure effective knowledge transfer for enhancements and fixes.
