Job description

Role overview

This is a full-time leadership position responsible for the day-to-day running and overall results of the club. The role sets the standard for sales, service, and operations, with accountability for commercial performance and for creating an outstanding experience for every member at every visit.

As the public face of the gym, you will lead from the front on the gym floor and at reception, uphold strong standards across all areas, and motivate the team to deliver measurable outcomes. The position calls for close attention to detail, strong ownership of key performance indicators, and a practical, solutions-focused approach to people and operations.

What you will be responsible for

  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team, providing regular and useful feedback to help each person improve.
  • Take ownership of all income streams, including memberships, personal training, and secondary spend, while improving overall profitability.
  • Build a welcoming, energetic, and premium club atmosphere that improves every member interaction.
  • Manage sales and operational processes end to end, ensuring company standards and central initiatives are delivered to a high level.
  • Maintain best-in-class cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards, whether you are on duty or not.
  • Respond quickly to challenges, adapt to change, and help the team stay steady and effective.
  • Oversee policies, procedures, health and safety, and pool plant operations in line with required guidelines.

Benefits

  • 20% discount across all Frasers Group fascias.
  • Complimentary Everlast Gym membership.
  • Monthly recognition awards through Everlast Champions and Frasers Group Champion, with a double salary month for winners.
  • Learning and development support, including funded Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications in Management and Leadership.
  • Opportunities to build fitness expertise, run personal training sessions, and lead group training.
  • A workplace culture that rewards ambition, resilience, and progression.

What we are looking for

You should bring a genuine interest in health, fitness, and wellness, along with strong leadership ability and a flexible communication and management style. A member-first attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, and a drive to beat targets are all important. The role also suits someone positive, ambitious, and comfortable taking on challenges. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays, is required.

Additional information

This opportunity is part of a wider culture that values bold thinking, accountability, and relevance. The company expects people to think quickly and ambitiously, own their work and results, and stay connected to people, partners, and the wider world.

  • Think without limits: move fast, act boldly, and bring the team with you.
  • Own it and back yourself: master the basics, take responsibility for your role, and stand behind your results.
  • Be relevant: stay meaningful to colleagues, partners, and the planet.
