Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) is a significant player in India's energy landscape, focusing on natural gas distribution. Job Purpose
This position is responsible for overseeing and managing logistics operations. Key duties include implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), coordinating various logistics activities, and performing data analysis to support informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the rollout of logistics SOPs and new operational initiatives to enhance service delivery standards.
- Ensure compliance with established logistics policies and procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement within existing processes.
- Monitor and report on the progress of logistics operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and project timelines.
- Manage the processing of Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR) for customer vehicles, coordinating effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
- Generate and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports as required by management, detailing logistics data such as vehicle utilization, route efficiency, and gas quantities.
- Analyze trends related to location, vehicle performance, routes, gas volumes, and delivery charges to identify and report any deviations from the norm to the Lead - COE Logistics.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the Lead - COE Logistics.
- Prepare accurate bills and invoices for dealers and customers, ensuring timely submission for payment.
- Verify that all financial transactions for logistics services accurately reflect charges and are validated against service delivery records.
- Continuously monitor vehicle operations to ensure optimal performance and efficient fulfillment of transportation requirements.
- Report any discrepancies in vehicle performance or utilization to the logistics team for necessary corrective actions.

- Internal: Technocommercial Team, GA Team, HSE Team
- External: Transporters
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field (B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent). Additional qualifications in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or Data Analysis are advantageous.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Industry Preference: Experience within the gas, energy, or utility sectors, with a strong background in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, is preferred.
