Assistant Manager

About the Role

Domino's is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their team in Minersville. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient service, and contributing to the overall success of the store. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing equipment, stocking, product preparation, order processing, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized facility. Additionally, the position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to handle transactions accurately, and proficiency in using computer systems for order entry. A key aspect of this role includes delivering products to customers, which requires good navigational skills and the ability to handle various delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all operational equipment is functioning correctly and used appropriately.
• Manage the stocking of ingredients, moving supplies from delivery areas to storage and workstations.
• Prepare food products according to company standards.
• Process customer orders accurately, both over the phone and in person.
• Conduct inventory checks and complete all necessary documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility and equipment on a daily basis.
• Deliver products to customers' homes and distribute promotional materials.
• Navigate effectively to locate customer addresses and deliver orders efficiently.
• Handle diverse delivery conditions, including multi-story buildings and various terrain.

Requirements

• Proficiency in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and accurate monetary change calculation. A calculator may be used.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills for effective order processing.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination for rapid and precise movements, particularly for order entry.
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard or touch screen for order input.
• Capability to understand and follow written instructions.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record are essential for delivery duties.
• Must be able to navigate various delivery sites, including challenging indoor and outdoor environments.
