About the Company
BiOptimizers is a science-led wellness brand focused on helping people move from average health toward higher biological performance. The company creates supplements and wellness solutions designed to produce real, measurable outcomes. It operates as a remote-first organization with a globally distributed team that values clear communication, independent ownership, and strong operational discipline.
Role Overview
In this position, you will shape and raise the standard of the brand’s visual presence across every major customer touchpoint, including campaigns, launches, brand activations, and in-person experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic creative direction with active execution to support brand growth and drive revenue across retail, Amazon, and direct-to-consumer channels.
You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and be responsible for guiding visual direction and delivery across channels while working closely with Brand, Social, Influencer, and Production teams to turn ideas into finished creative. The role also includes leading and developing designers on your team. It suits someone who brings strong creative judgment, can stay close to the work, and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
Work Location
This is a fully remote role with team members distributed across multiple locations and time zones. Travel is required for events and photo/video shoots, which are mainly held in the Southwest United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct, support, and coach the design team while building a collaborative and high-performing creative environment, staying involved in day-to-day production when needed.
- Set the creative direction for campaigns, product launches, content shoots, and brand activations across direct-to-consumer, Amazon, and retail channels.
- Lead retail creative work such as shelf displays, in-store merchandising, point-of-sale assets, and display programs so the brand stands out strongly in physical retail settings.
- Manage and contribute to Amazon creative deliverables, including A+ content, storefront design, and product page visuals that balance conversion goals with brand consistency.
- Turn complex, science-based product messaging into clear and engaging visual communication across formats and channels.
- Guide photo and video production so the creative direction is accurately translated into polished, effective assets.
- Refresh and maintain brand guidelines to keep visual output consistent across digital and physical applications.
- Work closely with Brand, Social, and Influencer teams to align creative work with campaign and business priorities.
- Partner with outside agencies, freelancers, and production vendors to expand creative capacity.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 to 10+ years of experience in art direction or visual design for consumer, wellness, performance, or lifestyle brands, including 3 or more years in an Art Director or similar senior creative leadership role.
- Demonstrated success leading design teams while balancing high-level direction with direct hands-on creative contribution.
- A bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- A strong portfolio showing concept-led campaigns and multi-channel execution, with work across digital platforms and retail or physical environments.
- Deep experience creating retail assets such as shelf displays, endcaps, point-of-purchase materials, and merchandising systems.
- Practical experience producing DTC and Amazon creative, including Amazon A+ content, storefronts, and performance-focused digital assets.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as Figma.
- Ability to simplify technical or science-heavy information into creative work that is easy to understand and engaging.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain creative decisions and align stakeholders at different levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in direct-to-consumer, supplements, lifestyle, or performance-oriented brands.
- Experience designing packaging, including both primary and secondary packaging for consumer products.
