Job description

Role overview

This position is responsible for leading sales performance and field execution for a designated area in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The role focuses on delivering both primary and secondary sales outcomes, strengthening stakeholder relationships, guiding field teams, and ensuring operational discipline in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly and annual product-level and value-level sales targets for the assigned territory across primary as well as secondary sales channels.
  • Build and sustain effective relationships with doctors, retailers, and stockists through customer engagement activities that support the company’s overall strategy.
  • Review team and area performance on a regular basis and use the findings to drive improvement.
  • Create and execute action plans aimed at continuous business and performance enhancement.
  • Spot capability gaps within the team and arrange coaching or development support as needed.
  • Maintain strict compliance with the company’s credit guidelines across the territory.
  • Track outstanding receivables closely and take steps to reduce financial exposure.
  • Ensure Medical Executives and Medical Trainees are recruited and onboarded on time and according to company norms so sales activity is not interrupted.
  • Monitor day-to-day field activities of MEs and MTs and make sure daily reporting is submitted without delay.
  • Support the rollout of company initiatives by directing and assisting team members in execution.
  • Share market inputs on trends, competitor moves, and promotional activity to support informed business decisions.
  • Resolve team issues promptly and escalate unresolved matters to line managers or head office when required.

Work experience

The role calls for 8 to 10 years of overall experience, including at least 2 years in a first-line manager position.

Education

A graduation degree in Pharmacy is required.
