Job description
Role Overview
This role supports architectural design and project delivery across planning, coordination, documentation, and site-related tasks. The position is based in Dubai and is offered on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Create concept options, schematic layouts, and 3D models to support design development.
- Work closely with the project team to coordinate with different stakeholders and keep discussions and project details properly recorded.
- Support architects in feasibility reviews, site assessments, and early-stage design work.
- Prepare presentation materials for clients, consultants, and authorities.
- Build familiarity with code requirements and produce drawings for authority consultations and submissions.
- Contribute to design development and overall project coordination with clients, authorities, and other consultants.
- Assist in preparing tender packages and quotation-related documents.
- Attend meetings with clients, users, project managers, and authorities, and document the outcomes.
- Help draft responses and approvals for contractor submissions and clarifications within the required timelines.
- Draft letters and other communications related to project, design, and contract matters.
- Record site progress and issue updated drawings to clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Join site inspections with senior architects or site teams and note observations and comments.
- Support verification of completed works, as-built documentation, defect rectification, and handover to the client.
- Coordinate with the consultant team to ensure building plans align with company and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- A degree in architecture or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Working knowledge of design and drafting tools such as Revit, Autodesk, SketchUp, Rhinoceros, and Adobe software is expected.
- The candidate should be collaborative, optimistic, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks in an organized and efficient manner are important.
