Role overview
North West Hospital and Health Service is seeking an Application Specialist to support the delivery of digital health capability across a large regional health network. This position contributes to the implementation, management and ongoing improvement of clinical and business applications used across the service.
You will partner with internal stakeholders, external vendors and system providers to introduce new applications, refine existing platforms and help maintain smooth system connectivity across a geographically spread health environment.
This opportunity suits someone with strong technical aptitude, a practical approach to troubleshooting, and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders while supporting important digital transformation work.

Requirements and conditions
- A current C-class motor vehicle licence is required.
- Successful applicants will need to complete pre-employment screening, including a criminal history check.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease risk position, so proof of vaccination or immunity may be needed for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- A probationary period may apply.
