Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar is for an Application Developer who will build, test, support, and improve software used for both internal processes and customer-facing services. The role calls for writing efficient code, handling databases, building and refining user interfaces with CSS, and connecting applications to existing platforms and external tools.

Key Duties

• Develop, test, and maintain applications that support operational and client-facing needs.
• Write clean, efficient code and improve existing software where needed.
• Design, query, optimize, and maintain databases while protecting data integrity.
• Create and polish user interfaces using CSS and related front-end technologies.
• Connect applications with APIs, third-party tools, and internal systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver suitable solutions.
• Investigate issues, resolve defects, and help improve overall system performance.
• Prepare technical documentation, take part in code reviews, and support ongoing improvements in development practices.

Qualifications

• Solid background in software development and programming, with hands-on application-building experience.
• Practical knowledge of database design, querying, optimization, and maintaining data accuracy.
• Ability to shape and improve interfaces using CSS and related front-end tools.
• Experience integrating applications, APIs, and third-party services into existing systems.
• A relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, software engineering, or a similar area.
• Exposure to modern development frameworks, version control tools, and team-based development workflows.
• Strong analytical ability, a careful eye for detail, and the ability to perform well in an on-site team environment.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage.
