About the Role
Sephora is looking for an Analyst, Sourcing Operations to turn sourcing data into clear insights that support better decisions across Sephora North America. In this role, you will help improve sourcing operations, strengthen spend optimization, and support data-led decision making with suppliers and internal partners. You will join the Strategic Sourcing Center of Excellence team, where the focus is on innovation, operational excellence, and measurable business impact.
What You’ll Do
- Examine large, complex spend datasets to uncover trends, savings opportunities, and practical business takeaways.
- Create, update, and improve dashboards, reports, and analytics that show sourcing performance, supplier metrics, savings, and spend patterns.
- Work with teams across Sourcing, Finance, and other business groups to understand reporting needs and deliver useful analytical support.
- Convert complicated data into executive-level presentations, dashboards, and visuals that help guide strategic choices.
- Help build and continuously refine scalable data systems that improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting speed.
- Own recurring reporting tasks such as spend analysis, savings tracking, supplier diversity reporting, and other operational reporting needs.
- Perform ad hoc analysis for sourcing programs, executive reviews, and special initiatives.
- Spot chances to automate reporting and improve sourcing workflows through data-based solutions.
- Encourage strong practices in data governance, dashboard structure, reporting standards, and analytics within the sourcing team.
- Regularly review reporting tools and workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and business insight.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with a strong analytical background, solid knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations. The role also calls for strong presentation skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, sourcing operations, procurement analytics, supply chain, finance, or a similar analytical role.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Advanced Excel ability, including complex formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, and macros.
- Experience creating dashboards and visual reports in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a talent for turning large datasets into actionable recommendations.
- Working knowledge of sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and strategic sourcing workflows.
- Experience with procurement or sourcing systems such as Coupa, Zip, SpendHQ, Per Angusta, or comparable tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to share insights with executives and cross-functional audiences.
- Strong organizational ability and comfort managing several priorities at once.
- Collaborative mindset with a track record of building relationships and influencing stakeholders across functions.
- Interest in data visualization, dashboard design, and using analytics to support business decisions.
Compensation
The annual base pay range for this position is $89,000 to $99,000. Final pay depends on factors such as qualifications, relevant experience, specialized skills, education, certifications or licenses, and geographic location. Bonus eligibility may also apply.
