Job description
About the Role
Angel Invest Ventures is hiring an AI Analyst to join its Berlin team. The position sits at the crossroads of AI research, venture capital, and engagement with corporate limited partners through the Technology Briefing Center (TBC). It offers early exposure to the venture investing process while placing strong emphasis on building deep expertise in artificial intelligence and turning that knowledge into practical insights for internal teams, portfolio founders, and corporate stakeholders.
The role is based in Berlin and is full-time and on-site.
About the Company
Angel Invest is one of Europe’s most active early-stage investors, backing around 75 startups each year across European technology markets. The firm primarily invests at the pre-seed and seed stages, typically writing checks of €125k, and also operates a later-stage fund to support portfolio companies as they scale beyond the earliest phases.
The team focuses on ambitious founders building differentiated products. After investing, Angel Invest works closely with founders for at least a year to help them reach product-market fit and prepare for Series A fundraising. Roughly 60% of portfolio companies eventually go on to raise a Series A. The firm has supported more than 250 startups, which together have raised over €2 billion in follow-on capital and achieved a combined market value above €4 billion. Its portfolio includes companies such as Rasa, Taktile, Peec AI, LizzyAI, Huzzle, dltHub, Originator, Fonio, and others.
In 2025, the firm co-founded the Technology Briefing Center, a Berlin-based think tank designed to connect frontier innovation with strategic decision-making. The AI Analyst will play an important role within this initiative, contributing to research, investor relations, and venture activities.
What You Will Do

- Shape investment theses and create clear, compelling presentations for the investment team and outside audiences.
- As part of the TBC, lead quarterly research outputs, webinars, and strategic analysis on AI developments.
- Build relationships with corporate LP stakeholders at multiple levels and deliver knowledge-sharing sessions, custom briefings, and workshops for senior executives.
- Join deal-flow discussions and contribute AI-focused analysis and data-backed input on potential investments.
- Partner with the venture team to refine the AI investment thesis using current research, technology trends, and market signals.
- Provide sector context and research support for AI-related deals whenever needed.
What The Employer Is Looking For
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Strong evidence of AI expertise through research, work history, published content, or notable projects.
- Native-level German proficiency (C2) and strong command of English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A self-driven, independent working style and comfort with high autonomy in a fast-moving setting.
- Strong curiosity about how AI is changing industries, business models, and technology stacks, along with hands-on experience using modern AI tools, models, and products in daily work.
What’s On Offer
- A strong entry point into venture capital with direct exposure to AI-focused work from the first day.
- The chance to develop highly visible expertise in AI through research and direct interaction with corporate decision-makers.
- Hands-on exposure to sourcing, deal flow, and investment decisions alongside experienced partners.
- Access to a broad network of investors, founders, and corporate leaders.
- Mentoring from seasoned partners and senior leaders in venture capital.
