Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled AEO Expert to drive our Answer Engine Optimisation and Generative Engine Optimisation efforts. The role calls for strong knowledge of how modern language models surface and reference content, along with the ability to strengthen brand presence across tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google SGE.
What You Will Do
- Create and execute strategies that improve how the brand appears in AI-powered search environments.
- Handle schema markup and structured data work to make content easier to find, understand, and retrieve.
- Improve entity signals and use knowledge graph concepts to support stronger search relevance.
- Study how large language models pull and cite information, then shape content so it is more likely to appear in featured snippets and direct answers.
- Manage Wikidata and Google Knowledge Panel presence to support accurate brand representation.
- Apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approaches to boost content performance in AI search contexts.
- Track AI search visibility and citation performance, then turn findings into clear recommendations for improvement.
Required Background
- Hands-on experience in Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
- Good working knowledge of AI search platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google SGE.
- Practical ability to implement schema markup and structured data.
- Strong understanding of entity optimisation and knowledge graph fundamentals.
- Clear grasp of how LLMs retrieve and reference content.
- Experience in traditional SEO, with a shift toward AI-first search approaches.
- Strong analytical capability to measure visibility and citation outcomes in AI search.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AI-based content management systems and related tools.
- Familiarity with analytics solutions used for SEO and search visibility reporting.
