Role Overview

This opening is with a higher education employer seeking an Administrative Assistant III to support faculty and the CliPIR division. The position focuses on keeping daily operations organized, coordinating communication, and helping events and programs run smoothly.

Key Duties

  • Deliver senior-level administrative assistance to faculty members and the CliPIR division.
  • Handle scheduling, event planning, and coordination for lectures, conferences, and related programs.
  • Create and maintain organized systems for both digital and paper records.
  • Act as a main contact for communications with individuals and groups.
  • Work with internal teams and outside partners to help ensure programs are carried out successfully.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage several deadlines at once.
  • Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in day-to-day work.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with Google Suite and virtual meeting tools such as Teams and Zoom.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Background

  • Prior administrative experience in a professional environment.
  • Experience organizing meetings or events in an academic or business setting.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
