Job description
Position Overview
This role is for an Acquisition Program Specialist within the Fleet Readiness Center Aviation Support Equipment Commander, part of the Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC). The position focuses on supporting acquisition and procurement activities that help maintain the readiness of Navy aviation support equipment.
Key Duties
- Act as a senior acquisition program analyst and serve as an alternate Contracting Officer’s Representative.
- Oversee the full end-to-end management of acquisition and procurement programs tied to aviation support equipment readiness.
- Set and balance project priorities, work within broad policy guidance, and apply sound independent judgment to address challenging problems.
- Use analytical thinking and structured problem-solving methods to work through complex acquisition-related issues.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is 121785 to 158322.
