Job description
About Airbnb
Airbnb began in 2007, when two hosts opened their San Francisco home to three guests. Since then, the platform has expanded to more than 5 million hosts and over 2 billion guest arrivals across nearly every country. Its goal is to help people experience travel and local communities in a more authentic way through distinctive stays and experiences.
Team Overview
You would join the Homes team, which is central to the Airbnb stay experience. This cross-functional group works with Hosts to design high-quality, repeatable, and commercially strong offerings that stay aligned with the company’s brand and values.
Airbnb is hiring an Acquisition Manager focused mainly on the DACH region, especially Germany, to expand its network of Hosts and Partners. The role sits within the Homes EMEA team and reports to the Field Operations Manager.
Role Impact
In this position, you will lead sourcing, pipeline development, supply acquisition, and onboarding of professional inventory across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will help strengthen Airbnb’s market position in DACH by acting as the local subject-matter expert and driving the full supply-acquisition cycle, from strategy creation and prospecting to onboarding and market performance.
You will also contribute to building and refining scalable, localized acquisition approaches that support long-term growth in the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and onboard new high-quality professional Hosts within your territory while maintaining a healthy pipeline.
- Design and execute scalable acquisition tactics to bring in Professional Hosts across the region.
- Represent Airbnb in external conversations with Professional Hosts as a credible and informed market specialist.
- Review data and use insights to spot strategic opportunities that can improve sales outcomes in your market.
- Build strong familiarity with the assigned DACH markets.
- Develop and manage relationships with partners across your territory.
- Maintain a working understanding of how different software partners integrate technically so you can support clients appropriately.
- Inform clients about major product updates and relay product or policy feedback to the relevant internal teams.
- Provide timely, high-quality support to professional hosts.
- Collaborate with product, communications, public policy, and customer support teams to help drive long-term market success.
Experience and Skills Required
- At least 6 years of experience in sales.
- At least 2 years of experience in hospitality or travel is preferred.
- Strong ability to organize work, manage time, and prioritize effectively.
- Proven background in B2B sales and new business development.
- Capability to operate strategically and tactically in uncertain or changing environments.
- Clear and effective communication skills for client interaction.
- Experience in building and maintaining external partnerships.
- Comfort with data analysis and making decisions based on findings.
- Willingness to travel to assigned markets.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and adapt to shifting priorities while balancing short-term and long-term goals.
- Experience in hospitality or travel within the region is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency with CRM tools; Salesforce experience is beneficial.
- Self-driven, resourceful, and able to work independently.
- Fluency in both German and English.
Inclusion Commitment
Airbnb welcomes applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and believes that diverse perspectives drive innovation, engagement, and better products and services. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

The listed base salary range for Germany is €71,000 to €84,000 per year. Pay may vary depending on factors such as training, transferable skills, experience, business needs, and market conditions. This position may also qualify for a bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
