Role Overview

This is a senior commercial role with a UK software development business that has grown rapidly and is on track toward £300 million in turnover. The organisation has a strong reputation for successful delivery, and its leadership includes people who have previously built and exited technology companies with great success.

The business is looking for experienced sales professionals who can sell a range of technology-led services, including SaaS, professional services, and cyber-related solutions. Success in this role will depend mainly on proven selling ability and a strong record of winning new business.

Salary for the role is £55,000 to £75,000 basic pay, with double OTE and uncapped commission. Top performers are reported to earn £250,000 to £300,000+.

What the Role Involves

You will join the company’s growing UK sales team and take responsibility for selling mission-critical software engineering and digital delivery solutions to senior decision-makers in enterprise accounts. The focus will be on helping organisations address technical hiring shortages and move forward with key digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

The role covers the complete sales process, from creating opportunities through to closing contracts. You will build trusted, consultative relationships with CTOs, CIOs, and other senior technology leaders, while shaping solutions around client needs and business goals.

You will also work toward ambitious revenue targets, generate new business, qualify prospects, manage complex sales cycles, and coordinate closely with delivery and marketing teams to support long-term customer success.

What You’ll Sell

The portfolio includes nearshore software engineering with measurable ROI, agile delivery management, quality assurance and test automation, cloud and DevOps services, AI and data science, machine learning, business intelligence and analytics, as well as mobile and greenfield product delivery.

Requirements

The company is looking for someone with a strong history of winning new business in complex B2B environments. A background in technology, SaaS, professional services, or cyber sales is preferred.

You should be able to sell strategically to senior technical and commercial stakeholders, feel comfortable generating pipeline, and be experienced in handling long sales cycles. The ideal candidate will be commercially sharp, credible, and highly ambitious.

This position is intended for UK-based candidates, with preference for people located in Manchester or in London / the South East.
