Executive, Learning & Development – Cinnamon Wild Yala

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Executive, Learning & Development to join Cinnamon Wild Yala. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka’s largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, the largest listed Conglomerate in Sri Lanka.

The Executive, Learning & Development will devise our organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation, and assess its outcomes while enhancing employees’ skills, performance, productivity, and work quality. You will identify training and developmental needs through job analysis, career paths and consultation with managers and drive suitable training initiatives that build loyalty to the company while managing the training budget effectively. Constant Evaluation of organizational performance is expected from the Learning and Development Manager to ensure that training meets business needs and improves performance. You will drive brand values and philosophy through all training and development activities.

Are you familiar with traditional and modern training methods? Have you engaged in talent management and succession planning? Do you have a strong understanding of best practices in hotel operation and proven work experience as a Learning & Development Manager? Can you communicate effectively and understand learning styles, including public speaking?
