Job Description

Job Purpose

Design review and execution of Civil & structural works for construction of Terminal Building while adhering to safety & quality standards within specified time and cost.

To assist in execution and construction of projects as “Manager- Construction”. Role includes having control and supervision of all the construction activities, mainly facade works referring drawing issue’s, coordinate with all Contractors/ Consultants/ PMC at site, Assisting in preparing MIS, monthly schedule, , checking the layout and ensuring un-interrupted progress of work with good quality & Safety including necessary coordination with in-house team.

Key Accountabilities

Assisting Project In-charge in Over-all Supervision of Works including Civil, Facade works and coordinating with MEP services, Checking of GFC’s for any ambiguity and building survey/ layout works.

  • Assisting various contractors in in executing the works strictly as per drawings, SOP and methodology.
  • Checking GFC’s and shop drawings for any ambiguity.
  • Checking Demarcation of building, layouts of various components of building as per drgs.
  • Checking columns/ beams/slabs etc. and approving check cards.
  • Checking BBS, Reinf. and shuttering etc.

Quality Supervision:

Material & workmanship supervision with regards to Facade works

Documentation/ data keeping

  • Checking quality of work as per quality plan and tender specifications.
  • Witnessing the quality tests as per IS codes/ Specification.
  • Issuing NCR’s for non-conformity works if any, Keeping all the records.
  • Strict implementation and checking of shuttering and staging works at site as per approved scheme.
  • Issuing NCR’s for non-conformity works if any, Keeping all the records.

Assisting Project Manager in Scheduling of works using Microsoft Projects/ PRIMAVERA: Monthly/ Weekly schedules

  • Keep monthly/ weekly schedules in place in line with the master schedule to achieve the final goal.
  • Monitor and raise alerts to Project Manager.
  • Takes necessary steps to achieve the lag if any

Job Role: As a Construction Manager of SAM Project ( Gateway District)

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

To assist in successful delivery of the project, need to interact with all the stakeholders at his level.

  • SAM Project: 350 Cr.

Other Dimensions

  • To handle team of 2-4 engineers
  • Managing Multiple Vendors and their staff

Education Qualifications

B. Tech (Civil). Construction management Diploma from NICMAR or equivalent will be added advantage.

? Other Skills- Basic Knowledge of MSP and Auto CAD, Report preparation, PPT etc.

Relevant Experience

12 ~ 15 years in Facade works and interior in Commercial office/ ITES Building/ Real Estate/ High end finish retail etc.
