Yard & Forklift Operator

The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable team member to support customers across the civil, water, wastewater, and drainage sectors while keeping yard operations running smoothly in a busy branch.

Key Duties

• Organise, stack, and store products safely and efficiently.
• Handle inbound goods and manage stock as it arrives.
• Load and unload customer vehicles.
• Carry out stock control tasks.
• Complete deliveries as required.
• Assist customers with service, sales enquiries, quotations, and phone calls.
• Support day-to-day yard activities.

What You Should Bring

• Hands-on background in front-line or counter-based customer service and yard work.
• Practical experience driving a forklift.
• Understanding of the company’s products and their applications is an advantage.
• A valid full driver licence.
• Forklift licence with F endorsement, which is mandatory.
• Comfortable using computers to a reasonable standard.
• Confidence when approaching and speaking with customers.
• Good physical fitness for the demands of the role.
