About the Role
We are seeking a physically fit individual for a part-time Warehouse Storeperson position at our Tauranga store. This role involves working within a small, on-site warehouse team and requires the ability to lift heavy stock. You will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods and supporting store operations.
Responsibilities
- Manual handling, including receiving, dispatching, and storing inventory.
- Processing incoming stock and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Assisting customers with stock collection during dispatch.
- Maintaining general cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Assembling products as needed.
- Conducting stock counts and inventory management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a strong willingness to learn and contribute, a positive and proactive approach, and effective communication skills. Intermediate computer proficiency and a solid understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) standards are essential. Availability to work weekends and public holidays as per roster is also required.
