Role Overview

The Transportation Coordinator will support the smooth dispatch of fresh, UHT, and food products by ensuring shipments leave on schedule, reach the right destination, and are backed by accurate paperwork. The role is based at the operating hub in Al Kharj and contributes directly to day-to-day transport performance and department goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Sales team to plan transport in a way that delivers goods to depots on time while making the best use of refrigerated vehicles within approved load limits.
• Manage yard activities so operations are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with transport standard operating procedures.
• Verify that dispatch documentation is correct, driver compliance requirements are valid, and product shipments are sent to depots within the committed timelines.
• Encourage safe transport practices and help support yearly safety and accident-reduction targets.
• Track transport operations closely, ensure adherence to SOPs, and raise any process issues or improvement ideas with management.
• Guide transport team members so operational targets are met and issues are resolved quickly.
• Keep accommodation facilities at the hub clean and well maintained, and ensure hygiene standards are consistently followed.

Requirements

• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• A recognized computer qualification or a high school diploma.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
