Territory Service Representative

Role Overview

The Territory Service Representative will manage local delivery and pickup activities in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on accurate shipment handling, timely movement of parcels, customer acknowledgement, and adherence to standard operating procedures throughout the service route.

Delivery Duties

• Remove bags from the vehicle and handle them safely during the delivery cycle.
• Scan shipments and complete primary as well as secondary sorting.
• Outscan consignments according to the assigned delivery route.
• Deliver parcels only to the address printed on the package.
• Collect customer acknowledgement using the device provided for BYOD-based confirmation.
• Record the correct status code for any shipment that cannot be delivered at the customer location.
• Follow the delivery process as explained during training.
• Submit cash-on-delivery collections to the supervisor on the same day.
• Return all undelivered shipments to the supervisor.
• Maintain the required dress code and carry field bags to every delivery point.

Pickup Duties

• Complete pickups in line with SOP requirements.
• Reach customers within the cut-off time for scheduled pickups.
• Verify whether the customer location is serviceable before completing the pickup.
• Count the shipments at the customer site and obtain acknowledgement on the pickup sheet.
• Inscan shipments at the office and manage rapid entry processing.
• Carry out primary and secondary sorting after pickup.
• Complete the bagging process for collected shipments.
• Load canvas bags into the vehicle.
• Reach the next location on time to maintain connection schedules.
