About the role
Thales is seeking a Studio Artist to join the Manufacturing team in Singapore. In this role, you will support Card Productions and Customer Service by building, simulating, and adapting artwork for personalization and design needs. The work contributes to products that help protect the digital lives of millions of people.

Key responsibilities
- Review customer artwork and assess whether the files are usable, including checking elements such as resolution and fonts.
- Create and simulate artwork while ensuring compliance with Visa, MasterCard, Diners, AMEX, JCB, and CUP standards.
- Track design work, communicate directly with customers, refine concepts, and present updated artwork for approval.
- Prepare colour separations and digital paper proofs for local print production, including sequencing and pass planning for each artwork.
- Produce Epson proofs for customer review and coordinate courier arrangements for customers outside the local market.
- Support additional requests by creating high-resolution images, working files, or other artwork-related materials needed by Customer Service or Sales.
Requirements
- Diploma in graphic design or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the offset printing industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Apple Macintosh systems, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Basic ability to use Excel and Outlook.
- Exposure to printing-related technology or technical processes is considered an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
