OverviewInfosys is hiring a Senior Lead - HRBP for its Global Markets Operations team in Bengaluru. This role is focused on partnering with business teams to strengthen HR processes, improve systems, and support strategic people decisions that align with organizational goals.Role purposeThe position is intended to act as a strategic HR partner for business units, helping them meet their day-to-day people needs while also driving longer-term improvements across HR practices, compliance, analytics, and capability building. The role emphasizes service quality, stakeholder support, and compliance within the resources and policies of the organization.Key responsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.Prepare analytics, benchmarking inputs, and research-based reports to evaluate the impact of HR initiatives.Guide teams in implementing HR processes and ensure adherence to internal policies and compliance requirements.Act as a strategic HR advisor to business units and recommend people solutions that support business goals.Work closely with business leaders and managers to introduce HR initiatives suited to changing business needs.Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, performance management, grievance handling, employee relations, staffing, succession planning, organization structure, and employee separation.Partner with HR functional leaders, OD, HRSD, and CoE teams to improve people practices, systems, and operating processes.Lead or support HR projects such as leadership training, development planning, succession planning, policy reviews, and policy rollout.Provide insights on workforce trends through business data analysis, including attrition, retention, engagement, and early warning indicators.Assess manpower needs, coordinate with hiring teams for backfills, and help ensure timely staffing support.Handle employee relations matters with line managers and employees using a balanced and unbiased approach.Identify bottom-quartile performers with managers, support coaching efforts, and help strengthen the succession pipeline.Contribute benchmarking inputs and best-practice ideas to improve employee engagement.Participate in leadership reviews and periodic business discussions to align HR support with strategic and operational priorities.Support annual and mid-year performance and talent development cycles.Provide compensation support such as band validation, promotion recommendations, and competency-based resource utilization inputs.Create communication forums and enable regular interaction between employees and management.Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to recommend improvements in retention.Assist with internal and external audit requests related to the employee lifecycle.Review HR data and systems within the assigned portfolio and recommend updates where needed.RequirementsMBA from a tiered business school.At least 5 years of experience in BPHR.Prior exposure to global markets or sales is preferred.Ability to manage employee lifecycle activities from onboarding through exit.Experience in business data review, workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management.Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.Comfort with audits, compliance checks, and HR process governance.Additional informationThe role requires proactive consultation with business stakeholders, continuous evaluation of existing workflows, and a focus on making effective use of available resources.
