Retail Cleaning Associate Full-Time

Role Overview

This position focuses on keeping the store clean, orderly, and ready for customers, with particular emphasis on floor care and general facility upkeep. The role also includes cross-training so you can assist in several areas of the store based on business needs.

Key Duties

• Operate floor-care equipment such as scrubbers and buffers, and complete cleaning tasks like dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning glass and windows.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards across the entire store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
• Support customer experience practices and contribute to a respectful, positive store culture.
• Follow health and safety rules, including keeping essential supplies stocked in the lounge, restrooms, and front end.
• Assist in other store areas such as the backroom, front end, and sales floor as needed.
• Help cover front-end needs and participate in store recovery throughout the day.
• Follow merchandising presentation and signage standards.
• Work within operational controls and loss-prevention guidelines, including shrink reduction practices.
• Communicate clearly and accurately with managers and store associates.
• Follow labor laws, break policies, meal period rules, and other company procedures.
• Help maintain a safe work environment and take part in safety awareness efforts.
• Handle additional responsibilities assigned by management.

Pay

The starting pay range for this role is $12.50 to $13.00 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
