Reservations Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Reservations Supervisor to lead the reservations function for Cruise Whitsundays. In this position, you will guide the Reservations Team to run smoothly, support a great guest journey, and help the business maintain strong booking conversion. The role places a strong focus on developing staff, working collaboratively, communicating clearly, and keeping day-to-day operations running at a high standard.

What you'll do

• Oversee the Reservations Team’s daily workflow to keep service levels high and operations efficient.
• Assist the Customer Service & Sales Manager with leadership duties and handling escalations.
• Coordinate rosters, track working hours, and organise team training and development.
• Manage bookings, manifests, and availability, making changes in response to demand and weather conditions.
• Maintain accurate invoicing and vessel reconciliation while supporting strong performance across website and OTA channels.
• Share updates on promotions, operational changes, and important information with the wider team.
• Support reporting tasks and keep internal records and documentation accurate.

The right person will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and genuinely committed to delivering excellent guest experiences. You should be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, have a sharp eye for detail, and bring prior experience leading or supervising a team. We are seeking someone who can contribute to a positive, high-performing culture, help others grow, and approach challenges with initiative. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Minimum requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a customer service position.
• Demonstrated sales experience with an emphasis on conversion and relationship management.
• Previous exposure to booking or reservation systems; experience with CustomLinc is an advantage.
• Background in training, mentoring, or team leadership.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and oxygen certification.
