About the Role
This position places you at the center of financial decision-making for a brand or channel, with responsibility for steering performance and supporting sustainable growth. You will work as a finance partner to commercial and marketing teams across multiple business areas, using financial insight to influence outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full profit and loss account for the business, with responsibility for margin improvement and careful review of each major line item.
- Partner with commercial and marketing stakeholders to help them meet business goals through timely analysis and practical recommendations that reinforce return-on-investment thinking.
- Build and share budgets, forecasts, trend views, and monthly close outputs, while explaining the key factors behind business performance.
- Support the rollout of finance policies, ensure processes are followed consistently, and contribute to internal control and audit activities.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant or an MBA graduate from a leading institute, with prior experience in the FMCG sector and a strong grasp of the commercial operating environment.
- Demonstrated capability in managing a profit and loss statement and improving financial results.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with brand and commercial teams as a dependable finance partner.
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with SAP and related business systems.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with complexity, strict timelines, and shifting priorities.
- A proactive approach focused on tracking business drivers and making timely, well-informed decisions.
