The goal is to meet and surpass customer expectations while maintaining long-term operational sustainability. You will help balance preventive action, ongoing improvement, strong root cause analysis, fast response, and durable solutions to quality issues.You will also work with cross-functional local teams that influence quality outcomes, helping the unit deliver targets and move toward world-class performance.Location and Business ContextThis position supports ABB’s Electrification business within the Distribution Solutions division in Nashik, India. The division provides distribution, protection, and control solutions that improve power quality and grid resilience for utility, industrial, and infrastructure applications.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport quality-related communication across your assigned area.Help identify quality risks and opportunities in the local organization and ensure they are addressed promptly.Analyze quality data to spot risks, failures, and non-conformances.Assist in resolving customer issues through structured root cause analysis and by driving preventive and corrective actions.Required QualificationsA full-time degree in Electrical Engineering.6 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, in-process inspection, testing, and handling customer complaints for vacuum interrupters or MV switchgear.Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IEC standards, Lean Six Sigma, SAP-QM, and quality tools.Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.About ABB Distribution SolutionsThe Distribution Solutions division offers products and solutions that support efficient power distribution, protection, and control.
