Project Procurement Manager

Position summary

This role combines end-to-end project management with procurement responsibilities for hollow metal doors, frames, and related products. The objective is to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and with purchasing that is both accurate and cost-efficient.

What you will do

• Take ownership of the full project cycle, including contracts, schedules, budgets, change orders, and final closeout.
• Coordinate the timing of material buying, deliveries, and installation work.
• Handle purchasing tasks such as reviewing orders, issuing purchase orders, confirming pricing, and monitoring shipments.
• Keep vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders informed about progress, issues, and status updates.
• Address procurement and project-related problems while keeping records complete and financial information accurate.
• Track costs and help protect margin targets.
• Look for ways to improve processes and strengthen collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, purchasing, or cradle-to-grave work in the doors, frames, and hardware industry.
• Ability to work both independently and with others, with strong accuracy and attention to detail, and only limited mentoring support (about 25%).
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office Suite and other project management or database tools.
• Well-developed organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional, adaptable, flexible, and dependable in day-to-day work.
• Capability to manage customer relationships, settle conflicts, and negotiate terms effectively.
• Strong critical thinking skills for assessing complex issues, reviewing data, and putting solutions into action.
• General math skills, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, fractions, and ratios.

Compensation and schedule

This is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 plus bonus incentive opportunities. Standard business hours apply.
