Role Overview

This position is for an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master based in Toronto, Ontario. The role focuses on planning, directing, and delivering projects across cross-functional teams while working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.

Core Responsibilities

Set the project boundaries, objectives, deliverables, and measures of success.
Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate and guide teams working across different functions.
Monitor progress against plan and make adjustments when required.
Identify project risks and issues early, then put mitigation actions in place.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and manage their expectations.
Support quality control and ensure governance practices are consistently applied.
Prepare and share updates on project status, milestones, and financial performance with leadership.
Handle change requests and prevent uncontrolled expansion of scope.
Close projects in a structured way and complete post-implementation reviews.

Skills and Tools

The role requires strong experience in project management, familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Waterfall/Hybrid delivery methods, and hands-on use of tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or Smartsheet.

Experience Required

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is needed.
