Role Overview

PGTEK is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee service delivery operations for a large-scale technology deployment program from start to finish. In this role, you will act as the central link between customers, field consultants, and internal finance and staffing teams. Success in this position requires strong coordination skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities at once without losing track of deadlines or details.

This role reports to the Director of Operations.

Project Intake and Setup

You will receive and review deployment requests and work-order submissions, verify project details in partner portals, and track assignments using unique project identifiers. You will also create and maintain projects in Wrike using established templates, while capturing key information such as customer data, site locations, SKUs, quantities, timelines, project values, and revenue periods.

Scheduling and Resource Coordination

The role requires assigning field consultants through Resource Guru based on skills, availability, project scope, and location. You will keep schedules aligned with stakeholder needs, update assignments as conditions change, and quickly resolve conflicts or staffing shortages before they affect delivery.

Pricing and Financial Accuracy

You will calculate and apply project adjustments such as mileage, after-hours work, and weekend factors. A major part of the job is making sure project amounts and revenue recognition details are recorded accurately.

Delivery Coordination

In this position, you will manage deployment logistics to keep projects moving on schedule. You will coordinate pre-deployment preparation, including technical calls, travel planning, and readiness checks, while monitoring progress and addressing issues proactively.

Closeout and Invoicing Support

You will ensure work orders are closed correctly once delivery is complete, confirm that engineers submit all required completion documents, and hand off completed work to invoicing with complete and accurate supporting information.

Data Integrity and Revenue Tracking

Part of the job involves reconciling time and cost center records in Paylocity, maintaining accurate operational and financial data, ensuring all revenue-related information is captured in Wrike, and supporting reporting that gives the organization better visibility into operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

You will work closely on a daily basis with customers, technology partners, finance, staffing and HR, and delivery teams. The role also includes supporting operational forecasting for upcoming PTO, contract transitions, and hiring needs, as well as contributing ideas that improve processes and efficiency.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in operations, service delivery, or project management, including people management or program management exposure. Experience in IT services, technology deployments, field services, or partner/channel environments is preferred. You should be able to manage a large number of active projects with strong organization, accuracy, and follow-through, and be comfortable using work-management or PSA tools such as Wrike, scheduling tools such as Resource Guru, and vendor or partner portals. Familiarity with enterprise service delivery systems like SAP Fieldglass or SAP Ariba is an added advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills, consistent follow-up, self-direction, reliability, and comfort in a fast-moving environment are essential.

Preferred Background

Additional experience that would be helpful includes technology deployment or field-service operations, invoicing or revenue operations support, and exposure to public-sector or federal contracting environments.

Compensation and Employment Type

This is a full-time salaried position offering $80,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience. The role is fully remote within the United States.
