MEP Testing & Commissioning Engineer

Role Overview

This position focuses on planning and driving the testing and commissioning activities for building services and MEP systems in line with project delivery targets and final handover requirements. The role covers HVAC, electrical, ELV, fire protection, and plumbing systems, with close coordination across site execution teams and external stakeholders to ensure systems are ready, compliant, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the end-to-end testing and commissioning strategy for HVAC, electrical, ELV, fire protection, and plumbing works, aligned with project milestones and handover dates.
• Review and supervise pre-commissioning tasks, including pressure tests, continuity checks, insulation resistance testing, pipeline flushing, air balancing, loop checks, and overall readiness verification across MEP systems.
• Work closely with civil, architectural, and MEP execution teams to confirm that installations are prepared for testing, while coordinating technical inspections and validations with OEMs, vendors, consultants, and client teams.
• Manage system-level functional testing such as HVAC control and performance validation, DG synchronization, transformer energization, pump and lighting control checks, fire alarm scenario testing, BMS trials, and water flow and pressure verification.
• Maintain accurate and complete commissioning documentation, including test procedures, inspection checklists, calibration records, commissioning dossiers, red-line drawings, and client approval records.
• Ensure all digital documentation is organized and ready for submission as part of the project handover package.
