About the Company
The hiring organization is a leading producer of two-wheeler seats in India. It was founded in 1987 and began as a supplier to Hero MotoCorp, later expanding into off-road, tractor, and commercial seat segments. The company operates modern manufacturing facilities in Dharuhera, Manesar, Haridwar, Halol, and Hosur.
Role Overview
This position focuses on improving manufacturing systems, designing efficient plant layouts, and strengthening process performance through engineering methods and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan plant layouts in line with industry best practices while ensuring all safety requirements are met.
- Use CAD tools and simulation software to evaluate and refine layout options, along with conventional planning methods.
- Create standardized and efficient process flows across operations.
- Perform cycle time studies and apply findings to improve productivity.
- Balance workflows to support smoother operations and better line efficiency.
- Develop effective work-system designs and identify opportunities to remove waste.
- Estimate manpower needs based on standard operating processes.
- Support automation initiatives and help introduce newer technologies into the process.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a B.Tech / B.E. degree in Automobile Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
