Role overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and performance-driven Inside Sales Manager to strengthen the commercial team. The role is central to building early sales momentum, spotting business opportunities, qualifying prospects, and turning them into accounts that contribute to revenue.
Key accountabilities
- Expand and lead the global inside sales operation focused on SMEs, unmanaged corporate accounts, and trade partners.
- Generate new business and improve conversion across inbound, outbound, and dormant leads.
- Run outbound outreach through phone calls, email communication, and campaign activity in partnership with Marketing.
- Manage, guide, and develop the inside sales team, with a strong focus on activity levels and conversion targets.
- Improve the use of Salesforce CRM and related sales tools to strengthen lead allocation, engagement, and pipeline transparency.
- Put in place segmentation, lead scoring, and qualification processes that help teams prioritise the most valuable opportunities.
- Create and track dashboards that measure conversion performance, response speed, and revenue impact.
- Ensure qualified opportunities are handed over to field sales smoothly, with full background and sales momentum preserved.
- Promote consistent CRM usage, accurate data entry, and best practices for virtual selling.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Finance to support overall growth objectives.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a closely related discipline is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in aviation sales, B2B sales, or leadership within inside sales.
- Demonstrated success in creating, growing, or scaling inside sales or digital sales teams.
- Strong ability to analyze data and interpret performance information.
- Good understanding of airline commercial operations and revenue-related functions.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
